5 Healthy Weekday Meals You Don’t Have to Cook

January 5, 2015 -

The New Year has begun, and healthy eating resolutions are in full swing. Think you now have to swear off eating delicious food or dining out forever? Think again.

Dining out can actually be a delicious and convenient part of your healthy lifestyle any day of the week. Carrabba’s is committed to providing a variety of healthful options that meet our customers’ health and nutrition needs. We start by selecting the freshest produce and leanest proteins. Then we incorporate a variety of healthful ingredients, such as olive oil and whole-grain spaghetti. We finish it off by infusing natural flavors with our signature wood-fire grill and wood-burning oven.

Carrabba’s takes an additional step by teaming up with Healthy Dining Finder to identify the healthiest of its fresh dishes.  Healthy Dining Finder’s team of registered dietitians selected our menu items that met its nutritional guidelines as well as incorporated lean protein and high-nutrient ingredients. Healthy Dining Finder helps us help you take the guess work out of selecting our healthiest menu options.

Here are five dinner entrees (four of which are gluten free) selected by both Healthy Dining’s and our registered dietitians to help you achieve your healthy eating goals.

All entrees below meet Healthy Dining’s nutrition analysis criteria of 750 calories or less, 25 grams of fat or less, 8 grams of saturated fat or less.
